Mums-to-be Virtual Tour of Exeter Wards
The maternity unit at the Centre for Women’s Health is busy, with over 3,500 babies born each year, so sometimes visitors could not always see the facilities because they were being used.
So matrons and nurses at the RD&E maternity unit in Exeter have decided to provide their own virtual tour of the wards.

RD&E Associate Director of Midwifery & Patient Care Tracey Reeves said: "We recognise that women and their partners can be reassured if they feel they are familiar with the place where they plan to have their baby and know what care and support they will receive before, during and immediately after the birth."
