Keep the kids entertained and from under your feet this half term
Perfect for Creative Little Ones
Paint a picture
Make a bedroom name plate
Make a place mat (then sneak it in to work next work to laminate it!)
If you have a sewing machine, make clothes for dolls
Make a castle or den using chairs the edge the sofa & some blankets.
Get a bag of spuds, cut the potatoes into shapes and then use with paint and make Easter cards for friends and family (be ultra organised & the envy of all the other Mums!)
Make slime. Mix together cornflour and water in a tray. You can also add food colouring and make patterns. The consistency is quite amazing. It sets in the tray but if you put your fingers in it becomes runny again.

Dani & her daughter Minnie love baking Fairy cakes and this is the recipe they use… 125g plain flour, 125g caster sugar, 125g butter, 2 eggs, tsp vanilla essence, 3 tsp baking powder & 2 tbsp milk. Put all the ingredients other than the milk in a mixer & wiz for 1 minute, add the milk and wiz again for a further minute, spoon into cases and cook for 15 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 200 degree’s (or 170 in a fan oven)
