GoldCoast Oceanfest is proud to announce, as an extension to its working relationship developed over the past 3 years, that Children’s Hospice South West has been chosen as its lead nominated charity for 2011.
 
Our Children’s Hospice South West campaign involves generating funds from every ticket sold plus the annual offering of free tickets and hospitality for families who are staying at Little Bridge House for respite over the mid-summer weekend.
 
GoldCoast have also created a unique weekend experience that money cannot buy.
 
The Auction prize up for grabs will include:

• a GoldCoast 3 day family ticket
• free official event tee shirts and merchandise
• access to VIP areas and viewing behind the scenes
• accommodation at Parkdean's Ruda holiday park for the 17th and 18th of June plus family Explorer vouchers thanks to Stagecoach Devon.
• Darren Burrett and his Surf South West team, the UK’s first ever Level4 surf school, are offering the family a half day surf lesson for all abilities, equipment included.

Sensational entertainment, sizzled with smoldering vibes and creamed honey - things are hotting up for this summers GoldCoast Oceanfest, the 13th consecutive annual Surf & Music production, with 2011 set to be bigger and better than ever.
Croyde Bay hosts everything from beach volleyball and ultimate frisbee to surfing and sk8 comps – as well as the chance to try it for yourself - you’ll be able to make the most of every moment on the sand.
Eco-projects with 40 local schools and a celebration of the biosphere reserve also help to make it a festival with an eco- conscience. All this adjacent to the fully licensed oceanside GoldCoast Arena hosting a Live Music Stage and Big Screen showcasing the international and local musical talents of more than 25 live acts over the weekend. Past performers include The Magic Numbers, Jason Mraz, Newton Faulkner, Donny Frankenreiter, Ash Grunwald, Ben Howard and the Martin Harley Band to name a few.
Plus a Trade Village incorporating licensed bars & international cuisine. And if you are up for it, the adrenalin zones, pro demos, workshops, exhibitions, sampling booths, simulators and hospitality suites, all add to the eclectic ambience of the event.
