Northampton Fireworks 2016

We'd love you to join us on The Racecourse in Northampton on Saturday November 5th for the 2016 Northampton Borough Council Fireworks! It's set to be another amazing display set to music, and there's loads going on for the whole family!

The Racecourse will open at 2pm, with a funfair, food stalls and lots to keep the family entertained! Heart will be there hosting the event, and the important timings to make a note of are as follows...

Site opens - 2pm

Warm up - 6pm

Bonfire lit - 6.30pm

Fireworks - 7.00pm

Finish - 8.30pm

Last year, more than 18,000 people came to the Racecourse to view the spectacular display and it's expected a similar number will attend this November.

The Council is advising that parking is not available on site. Plenty of parking is available however, in car parks around the town centre including St Michael’s car park, which will be free to use, and a number of surface car parks that will charge just £1 to park in. Please do make use of these car parks and walk to the Racecourse.

The Council also warns that disruption to roads surrounding the Racecourse such as Kettering Road, East Park Parade and St Georges Avenue will be expected from 2pm as people make their way to and from the Racecourse.

There will also be footpath closures from St Georges Avenue and Trinity Avenue across the park to the Kettering Road, whilst the fireworks display is set up.
