It's really important to note that there is NO car parking at this venue and there are strict parking regulations in the surrounding roads. Please park in the city centre car parks or use public transport.
St Albans Abbey station is just across the road from the park entrance and there are numerous bus routes operating around the site.
If you are arriving by car, you will not be allowed to use the car parks located within Verulamium Park. We recommend that you use the multi storey car parks in St Albans City Centre which are located just a short walk away from the park itself.
Please be aware that parking charges apply on Sundays at £1 per day. For more information, please visit the St Albans Council car park website.
Any vehicles that park illegally in the surrounding roads may be subject to a Penalty Charge Notice.

The St Albans route is an amazing journey through a piece of history. Hilly in places and fairly challenging, we set off by Westminster Lodge before traversing the open fields, enjoying splendid views of the Abbey and then journeying around the picturesque lake.
The start line is in the field next to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Please arrive an hour before the start time.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you – there is a great atmosphere on the day! They can stroll around the stalls for face painting, refreshments and other family-friendly activities.
