Join us in St George's Square Luton on Saturday November 25th for 'Lighting up Luton 2017', as we light up the town for Christmas!

There'll be lots going on as usual, including performances arranged by Luton in Harmony, arts and crafts activities and carol singing. Santa's grotto will also be open in The Mall, so the kids can visit the big man before the big day!

This year, the organisers will be running a special appeal for donations to Luton Foodbank, and a collection point will be open all day for you to make donations... and as part of this, there'll be the chance for one lucky Luton child aged 4-11 to win a £50 toy store voucher to help celebrate Christmas, as well as the chance to help switch on this year's Christmas lights.

So why not get the loss involved! All they need to do is create a picture that shows the importance of giving back. As the parent/guardian, you just need to film the child telling why they think it’s important that Luton Gives Back. Full competition details can be found here.
