Mini Stu & Nat and Be a Kid for a Kid

Our charity, Have a Heart, is currently supporting ChildLine – the free phone and online service for children who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. And we’ve launched our Have a Heart Appeal for 2012.This year we’re asking you to “Be a Kid for a Kid”. It’s your chance to go back to your childhood and have some fun whilst raising money for Have a Heart.

You could...

Have a sleepover! Host a movie night! Give up your sweet tooth! Host a talent contest! Have a school disco at home! Hold a bake-a-thon! Throw a kids party! Have a mini sports day! Play pin the tail on the donkey! Donate some of your pocket money! Have a dress down day! Hold a craft fair! Bake some cakes! Set up a tuck shop! Wear your school uniform to work! Do a colouring competition! Make jelly and ice cream!

Or you can do anything else you can think of to relive your youth! This year our Appeal takes place from 5^th – 9^th March, so start planning your event NOW and you could be joining in on appeal week with us! There are loads of ideas online to inspire you, and a fundraising pack full of everything you need to hold your own “Be a Kid for a Kid” event at heart.co.uk

Each week between now and appeal week., Stuart and Natalie are undertaking a different 'Be a Kid for a Kid' challenge, doing the kind of things we used to do as kids, like picking up a brick from the bottom of the swimming pool in your jim jams, sledging, death slides... And each week we're asking you to text in and guess who you think will do better, Stuart or Natalie, with £1 from each text going to our Have a Heart Appeal for 2012. Keep listening out for the challenges still to come, and check out the ones they've already completed below!
