5 Year Old Boy Dies After MK Collision

Thames Valley Police is continuing to appeal for information following a collision on Sunday June 7th after a boy who was injured in the collision died today.

At about 1.50pm on Sunday a black Vauxhall Insignia was involved in a collision with a pedestrian, a five-year-old boy, in Wood Spring Court, Monkston. The vehicle stopped at the scene.

Investigating officer, Sgt Graeme Hughes from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am continuing to appeal to anyone who saw what happened or anyone who has any information about the collision to come forward and speak to police.

“A young child has sadly died following this incident and an investigation is ongoing in to the circumstances of the collision.”

Anyone with any information which may assist the investigation should contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
