Emergency services have locked down a busy road in Abbots Langley, close to the Warner Brothers Studios Tour complex - after reports of large-scale disturbances at High Elms Lane.

Three people have been hurt and the road will be closed until further notice - it's a busy school road and High Elms Manor, St Michael's Catholic High School and Parmiter School are all closed until further notice. However pupils sitting exams will be ok.

The East of England Ambulance service were also called to High Elms Road at around 9pm last night and have treated three people for head, chest and shoulder injuries.

One man and two other people who have yet to be identified have been taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries, again those injuries have not been identified.

Police are asking people to avoid the area and further updates will be posted in due course.

A police cordon remains in place at either end of the country lane, just off the A405 North Orbital Road.
