Arrest After Serious Sex Assault In Luton

A man has been arrested as police investigate a serious sex assault in Luton.

A man has been arrested and bailed in connection with a serious sexual assault that happened in the Marsh Farm area on Saturday, 7 February.

A woman was walking near Wauluds Bank Drive during the early hours when she was assaulted.

Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit arrested a man yesterday (Tuesday 24 February), in relation to the incident.
 
The man, who is in his 30s and from Luton, was taken to custody for questioning before being released on bail. He will report back to Luton custody suite on 21 April.
