Bedford Bus Station Collision - Fatal

Police say the woman knocked over by a lorry at Bedford bus station this morning, has died.

Bedfordshire Police are now appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Bedford this morning.

Officers were called to reports of a serious collision between a pedestrian and a lorry at the bus station in Greenhill Street, Bedford, at about 8am. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.

PC Martin Longley said: 

"The collision occurred shortly after a bus had arrived at the depot this morning so it is likely people would have witnessed the incident. The investigation is ongoing and we would like to speak to anyone who may have any information to assist us in this case."
