Burglars Armed With Screwdrivers Steal Jewellery In Northants

Armed burglars have broken into a house in a Northamptonshire village and stolen jewellery.

The house in Bedford Road, Brafield-on-the-Green, was broken into at about 11pm on Saturday, April 18.

Police say the home owners were confronted by at least three men who were all dressed in black.

Two of the men were armed with large screwdrivers and forced the occupants to sit in the lounge while they searched the property.

One of the men who had a screwdriver was aged about 20, of medium build and medium height. He wore a hood and had a scarf around his face.

The second man also had a hood and a scarf around his face which had a little bit of orange on it. He was about 20, medium height and slim.
