Woman Assaulted After Getting Off Bus

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Tuesday 15 March at about 1.05pm on Henman's Road, Daventry, outside the Fish and Chip shop.

A 46-year-old woman was assaulted whilst getting off a Stagecoach bus.
 
She was deliberately tripped up causing her to stumble and bang her head on the safety rail, banging her arm. An altercation followed.
 
Police are appealing for anybody who witnessed this incident to come forward.
