Delivery Van Stolen In Corby

A delivery driver has had his van broken into and stolen while he was parked in a Corby street.

The plain white Peugeot Boxer van, registration MVH 539, was parked in St James Road at about 2.30pm on Wednesday, March 18, when it was broken into.

Two masked man with hammers smashed the windows to the vehicle and then overpowered the driver before he managed to escape.

One of the men then drove the van away while the other fled on a Enduro-style motorbike.

The van was found burned out an hour later in Gretton Brook Road.

Witnesses, or anyone who knows anything about this incident, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
