Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to identify the owner of two large dogs who attacked another dog in Milton Keynes on Monday December 27th

The incident happened at about 7.45pm, near to the ECO factory in the area of the underpass which leads from Wolverton industrial estate to Greenleys. The victim was walking his dog Angel, a Bichon Frise, when they were approached by a man walking a Dalmatian and a Rottweiler.

As the victim stopped to the let the other man with the two dogs pass by, the Dalmatian and Rottweiler attacked Angel causing substantial injuries which require surgery. The offender stated that the dogs were not his and that he was house-sitting for his brother.

PC Tom Neilson, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who thinks they know the owner of the two larger dogs. The pairing of a Dalmatian and a Rottweiler is quite unusual and it’s likely that they live in the Wolverton area. We do need to trace the owner of the dogs to give them appropriate advice and support to ensure the dogs are kept under control in public.”
