Further Person Charged Over David Molloy's Murder

Paul Smith, aged 48 from Maylands Avenue in Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.

A further person has been charged in connection with the murder of David Molloy in Hemel Hempstead.

He has been bailed to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on Friday, April 27.

27 year old Mohammed Tariq Khalid from Luton has been charged with David's murder.

Two other people have already been charged with assisting an offender over David's murder: Emma Payne, aged 40 and of Eight Acres in Tring and Matthew Eyles, aged 43, of no fixed address.

And Karen Payne, aged 37 and of Saturn Way in Hemel Hempstead, is charged with perverting the course of justice.

Police were called several Tuesday's ago (March 13) to Saturn Way following reports of a stabbing.

David, aged 24, was treated by paramedics but was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

His family are currently being supported by specialist officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.
