One in 10 children, aged 5 to 16, in Hertfordshire have significant mental health problems.

One in 10 children, aged 5 to 16, in Hertfordshire have significant mental health problems.

...And 21% of boys in the county say they are unable to cope properly when they are worried or distressed.

The County Council have launched a new campaign 'Just Talk' to get young people in Herts, especially boys and young men, to open up about their problems.

This week, schools have been holding special assemblies aiming to normalise conversations about mental health.

They are also running Just Talk lessons and inviting guest speakers in to share the Just Talk message.

Mental health campaigner Jonny Benjamin, who was talked out of taking his own life by a stranger on a bridge, is backing Just Talk.

He shares his message in the video; you can share yours on social media with #JustTalk.
