Knifepoint Robbery In Northampton
Northants Police say a man's been robbed at knifepoint by two strangers as he walked through Northampton.
The victim was walking home through Dallington Park at about 10.20pm on Saturday, March 28, when he heard a man shout at him.
He ignored the call and crossed over Harlestone Road. However, when he was close to The Avenue, two men approached him.
One of the men stood behind him while the other stood in front and demanded that he hand over his wallet and phone.
When he refused, the man in front punched him in the face and pulled out a knife.
The man then handed over his phone and wallet.
At this point, the man who had been standing behind the victim punched him in the back of the head and knocked him to the ground.
Both men where white and aged between 20 and 25. The man with the knife was of average build, about 5ft 10in, with short cropped hair that was either blond or ginger. He had a Northampton accent and was wearing light coloured clothing.
The second man had slightly longer hair and wore dark clothing.
Witnesses, or anyone who knows anything about this incident, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
