Man Charged Over Historic Luton Murder

A man has been charged with the murder of Marcus Hall in Luton 14 years ago.

Adebayo Ekun, 39, was arrested in Nigeria last month and was extradited back to the UK yesterday (Tuesday).

He has been charged with murder and will appear at Luton Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday).

Eighteen-year-old Marcus was beaten and stabbed to death on March 21, 2001.

Seven men have been convicted in 2002/3 for the part they played in his murder.

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit worked with the National Crime Agency in Nigeria to carry out the extradition process.
