Man Charged With Arranging Beds Contract Killing
A man has been charged with trying to arrange the contract killing of a Bedfordshire man.
Paul Matthews, 48, of no fixed address, was arrested by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit at an address in Norfolk on Wednesday (8 April).
Matthews, also known as Paul Vass, has been charged with soliciting to commit murder and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He will appear at Luton Magistrates' Court today (Friday).
The alleged intended victim lives in Bedfordshire.
Lorry targeted at Toddington Services while driver was on a break.
31 year old victim taken to hospital after attack on Thursday night.
Both robberies happened within 20 minutes of each other on Wednesday night.
