Man Injured In Fail To Stop In Wellingborough

A man has suffered a broken leg after he was hit by a car, which then sped off without stopping, in Wellingborough.

The 23-year-old victim was standing with friends outside the Cutting Room pub in Church Street when it happened at around 2.40am on Sunday 24th August.

He was knocked down by a red Vauxhall Astra and his leg was broken as a result. The car was then driven off at speed and narrowly missed another pedestrian.
