Medical Kit Stolen From Biggleswade Ambulance

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a canister of Ethonox – was stolen from an ambulance.

The canister of Ethonox ("Gas and Air" as it is commonly known) was taken from the vehicle parked outside a house in Biggleswade on Saturday November 1.

The incident happened between 3.05pm and 3.30pm as the paramedic was treating a patient at a property in Holme Crescent, Biggleswade.

A member of the public knocked on the door to tell the victim that an offender had been looking through the back of the ambulance. The paramedic gave chase but the offender escaped. On returning to the ambulance the victim saw that a canister of Ethonox was missing along with his responder bag and helmet.

The offender was a white man, between 20 and 30 years old, of scruffy appearance and wearing a grey tracksuit with a hood.
