A Milton Keynes software firm says it's staff are amongst the first in the area to help give a roof over the heads of Syrian refugees.
Working with MK Council the White Clarke Group say they've already helped five families and have pledged to help another 15 in the coming years.
Now they're looking for volunteers to helping refurbish homes offered by private landlords and donations for the families coming in.
"Refugees Welcome MK'"has helped to house 5 refugee families in Milton Keynes and will help to house another 15 in the coming years, as part of the UK Government's Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme.
'Refugees Welcome MK' is working together with the council to identify private landlords accommodation for these families. Once accommodation has been secured, a lot of help is needed to fully furnish and equip each house with everything that the families need.
White Clarke Group is raising money to buy household items and other essentials to help these families to resettle. They will also arrange a volunteer day to lend a helping hand with the refurnishing of new homes and have generously offered what they can spare to the families, including bikes to help with transportation and integration within their new communities.
White Clarke Group Executive Vice President Brendan Gleeson said:
"There has never been a prouder moment for White Clarke Group, seeing the employees without prompt come together to help this great cause. I really appreciate the way in which everyone has come together to help and I hope other local companies will join us to give these families an opportunity to start a new and brighter life here in Milton Keynes".
