MK School Opens Despite Fire

Parents and pupils at the Wavendon Gate school in Milton Keynes have been told school is open today, despite a fire yesterday.

The incident happened at Wavendon Gate Combined School, Gregories Drive, Milton Keynes, between 1am and 2am.

The fire, which started in some sheds at the rear of the school, spread to a section of the main school building. However, the majority of the damage was caused in the area of where the sheds were positioned.

"There will be changes to the Breakfast Club routine.
