Student Attacked in Luton

A student has suffered a broken jaw after a being attacked in Luton town centre.
It happened on Monday morning in the Vicarage Street car park at 9am
Officers were called to the scene after a member of the public reported a fight taking place.
The 21 year old student from London was found at the scene with a suspected broken jaw and damaged teeth.
It is believed five men had got out of a silver Honda Civic and approached the student before assaulting him.
The men, described as four black men and a mixed race man, who are all believed to be in their early 20s, left the scene taking the victim's mobile and other personal items.
A 21 year old man from London was arrested shortly after the incident and a vehicle matching the above description was also recovered.
The man who was arrested has been released on police bail pending further investigations.
