Two Men Die & One Critically Hurt After Crash In Luton
Two men have died and another man is critically injured after a crash in Luton last night.
Two cars collided in Newlands Road at around 7:20pm.
The driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene and one of his passengers was flown to The Royal Free Hospital in London. He later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Audi was taken to Luton & Dunstable Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Sergeant Craig Baker said: "I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to it to contact police."
Anyone with any information should call the roads policing team on 101 quoting incident 366 of 20 May.
A lorry driver who crashed into a queue of stationary traffic, killing an elderly couple and seriously injuring a further two people, has been jailed.
