Wellingborough Child Assaulted
A youngster's been left with a mark on his face after a stranger's struck out at the child in a Wellingborough street.
Police say it happened in Dulley Avenue, Wellingborough on Friday morning (8th May) between 8.40am and 8.50am.
The incident involved a man approaching two young children and striking one of them on the forehead, causing a red mark.
The offender is described as a tall black man wearing a black scarf and dark clothing.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and may have witnessed it or have information about it to contact them on 101.
