Woman Falls From MK Bridge
A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a Milton Keynes bridge last night.
Police were called to Saxon Street, V7, at around 8.30pm last night (25/5) after reports of a fear for welfare of a woman.
Whilst officers were at the scene attempting to communicate with the woman, she fell from a bridge into the road and sustained serious injuries.
She has been taken to John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed while officers remained at the scene.
Surrounding roads including Oldbrook Boulevard and Fishermead Boulevard were also partially closed.
