Cheltenham Festival Travel 2018

Travelling By Car:
Traffic will be busy between 10am - 12pm and 3pm - 6pm on race days and you are advised to plan your route before you travel.
Follow the yellow or brown signed routes to the racecourse.
M5 South bound heading from Worcestershire - Busy J10 to J11
M5 North bound heading from Stroud - Busy J11 to 13
Busy local routes A40, Golden Valley, Albert Road, New Barn Lane, Hill Court Road, Princess Elizabeth Way, Tewksbury Road.
Travelling By Bus:
Stagecoach will operating from to and from Cheltenham Train Station between 9.15 until 15 minutes prior to first race, and return, from 15.15 to 9.15.
Buses will leave Cheltenham town Centre picking up outside WH Smith.
Return buses pick up from the Racecourse with stops at Pitville Street.
Service 527 will also provide a regular service from Cheltenham Centre to Bishops Cleeve and Gotherington via the Racecourse Roundabout
Travelling By Train:
Buses are running from Cheltenham Spa Station from 2 hours before racing; returning after racing.
Pick Up And Drop Off Points:
There is a pick up and drop off area at the bottom of the West Car Park, which is about 5 minutes walk from the gates.
You are advised to plan your parking as advance festival parking has now closed.
There’s Park and Ride at Arle Court for the town and plenty of pop up car parks around the racecourse.
North Place car park is closest to the site but here's a full list of car parks (for times and prices please go to their individual websites) plus there will be pop up car parks around the racecourse:
