Forest Of Dean: Boy Seriously Injured In Collision

A 7 year old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after being knocked off his bike in the Forest of Dean.

A black Ford Focus driven by a local woman collided with the boy as he rode a bike on North Road in Broadwell at about 6.45pm yesterday.

The boy, who is also from the local area, was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with serious head injuries and remains in serious condition. 

Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to call 101, quoting incident 387 of April 23.
