Charity gears up to give debt advice

The day after Valentine's Day, that is when loads of us won't be able to cope with our debt anymore.

Christians Against Debt have told Heart it was their busiest day for calls last year and with the cuts and high fuel prices facing people, they are expecting an even busier 2011.

The charity says the most common cause of debt is a sudden change of circumstances, like ill-health in the family, job losses or relationship breakdown.

CAP has centres across the region, including Cheltenham, Stroud, Chippenham, Swindon, Sailsbury, Bath and Bristol.

You can find out more online at www.capuk.org or call their helpline 0800 328 0006
