Council faces budget cuts

Gloucestershire County Council are going to have to make do with £6.5million less funding.

They have had a letter confirming how much budgets will be cut by the Government, who are trying to reduce the country's national debt.

The balk of the cuts - £2.63million - will come from the education Area Based Grant (ABG).

Other areas to face a reduction are road safety and integrated transport.
