Cyclist dies in Temple Guiting collision

Just before 1pm on Sunday July 8 police were called to a road traffic collision on the B4077 at Ford, near Temple Guiting.

The collision involved a horse box lorry, being driven by a 58-year-old local man, and a cyclist.

The driver was uninjured, but the cyclist, a 23-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.

The man is originally from Cambridgeshire, however had recently been living in Cheltenham.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not already been spoken to.

Witnesses should ring police on 101 quoting incident number 271 of July 8.
