Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust reassure parents

After the fox attack on twin baby girls in London, people have been on their guard against the wild animals coming into their homes.

A family in Quedgelely have been telling how shocked they were to find a young fox cub had made it into their house and upstairs are getting in through the catflap.

The fox was first noticed sitting on the windowsill in the bedroom and after it was chased out, it tried to get back in again - before being seen off for a second time, this time by the family cat.

Heart spoke to wildlife expert John Field from the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust to find out the best way to keep foxes away and just how much of a threat they are to our safety.
