Gloucester: Victim Support Needs More Volunteers

Victim Support say they need more help, so they can help more people across Gloucestershire.

The charity are holding volunteer recruitment events in Gloucester on Wednesday 23rd April at Victim Support, Eastgate House, 18:00 - 19:30 and on Thursday 24th April at Cheltenham Magistrates Court, 14:30 - 16:00.

They say they need more people to help privide confidential information, emotional support and practical help to witnesses and victims of crime.

Mark Eddleston from the charity says:

"For 40 years our professionally trained volunters have been making a huge difference to their local communities. The recruitment day will be a fantastic opportunity for people to find out more about Victim Support and how they can make a real difference to their local community."
