Man stabbed in Cheltenham

A 28 year old man is in hospital after suffering a stab would to his back.

Police and ambulance were called to the Montpellier area of Cheltenham at around 1.30am on Sunday, after reports of an incident outside Subtone nightclub on the Promenade.

Police say the injury is not thought to be life threatening.

A 33 year old man from Gloucester was arrested at his home at 4am on Sunday.
