Nailsworth: Man Mugged In Town

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information after a man was mugged in Nailsworth

IT happened at around 12.15am near the junction of Old Horsley Road and Brewery Lane on Sunday December 29. 

The victim, a 59-year-old local man was walking home when he was approached by the offender. The victim was pushed into a stationary car which caused him to fall to the ground. Several hundred pounds was taken from the victim’s pocket.

The offender was described as white, male and between 20 and 30-years-old. He was wearing a black leather jacket. 

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 115 of December 30.
