Police appeal after fatal crash

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash on the A429 Stow Road between Cirencester and North Cerney.

It happened at around 1.50pm on Saturday July 31 and involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle, travelling towards Cirencester, and a silver Toyota Previa, travelling in the direction of Northleach.

The motorcyclist, a 69-year-old man from Kings Stanley, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.

The driver of the car, a 73-year-old man from Stratford-Upon-Avon and his passenger, a 73-year-old woman, were uninjured in the collision.
