Police have renewed their appeal for help to find a missing Cheltenham man.

70-year-old Peter Luker was last seen at his home in the Springbank area of Cheltenham at around 9.50am on Tuesday morning.  He was reported missing by his wife at 3.45pm.

Peter is described as around 5ft tall with white hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a short sleeved yellow shirt, beige coat and beige trousers.

Inspector Steve Norris said;

“We are very concerned for Mr Luker’s welfare, he has been missing for a significant amount of time and understandably his family are really worried about him.

“Searches are continuing to be made throughout the area and enquiries are being made amongst the community to ascertain where he might have gone.

“We would like to ask people out and about this weekend to keep an eye out for him and urge anyone who thinks they might have seen him to get in touch with us as soon as possible. Even if you are not 100% sure it was him give us a call, we would rather that than miss an opportunity to check he’s ok.”

Anyone with any information about Mr Luker’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 298 of July 6.
