Police call off search of Prout farm

Gloucestershire Police searching farm land at the Redmarley home of missing Kate Prout have abandoned their search.

Her estranged husband Adrian was found guilty of her murder in February and jailed for a minimum of 18 years, but Kate's body has never been found.

Police said they were acting on information received, but nothing significant was found so the search was finally called off.

The Prout farm in RedmarleyDetective Chief Inspector Neil Kelly said:

"Police have now left the address in Redmarley after a conducting a thorough search in which nothing was found. We hope this reassures people that we will continue to act on any information we receive."
