Someone could be attacked

It is only a matter of time before someone is attacked by an aggressive gull.

The warning comes from the manager of the Regent Arcade shopping centre in Cheltenham.

He had to close the top flood of the car park for two days last year after a female gull started getting protective of a nest on a nearby roof and there are concerns the problem will get worse again when the breeding season starts again next month.

Cheltenham Borough Council are already looking at ways of stopping the birds being such a pain, one option could be to bring in a shooter as part of a cull.
