A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in St Paul's in Cheltenham on Tuesday.

Craig Tombs, who's 22 and from Aldridge Close, Cheltenham will appear before magistrates in the town today charged with causing grievous bodily harm. 

It's in connection with a dispute between two men in the St Paul's area early yesterday morning. 

A 33-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his shoulder in the incident and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in a stable condition.
