Talking to children about the terror attack in London
40 Gloucestershire shops have been checked out over complaints about unfair pricing.
Trading Standards have been investigating things like display prices changing when you get to the till, misleading money off deals and some stores not including VAT until you come to pay.
The shops were advised about the legal requirements and told to make changes, all had when officers returned to check 10 days later.
Eddie Coventry Head of Trading Standards, said: "We continue to receive complaints from the public reporting pricing irregularities and this is clearly an issue which causes frustration. We are pleased that the businesses we spoke to put things right when advised but we want to remind businesses to give accurate price information which does not mislead consumers."
