The next installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise could have scenes filmed in Gloucester Docks, it has been reported.

Filming of Disney's blockbusting sequel could bring Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush to the county. Dredging work is taking place at The Docks, and it is rumoured this is being done ahead of five tall ships arriving next month. Pirates of the Caribbean 5 – Dead Men Tell No Tales is also being filmed in Puerto Rico and New Orleans.

Along with Pirates of the Caribbean, don't forget film crews have also descended on Puzzlewood sparking rumours the new Star Wars movie is being shot there.

The picture perfect woodland backdrop is the ideal spot for an out-of-this-world environment whether it is for Yoda's planet or another realm far, far away. Star Wars: Episode VII will take place 30 years after the Battle of Endor and the events portrayed in Return of the Jedi.
