Business Services is MidKent College's Employer Responsive Department based at our Maidstone Campus.
They support local employers across Medway, Maidstone and the wider Kent area, by working with businesses to offer solutions that benefit both the employer and the employee. Offering a FREE skills advisory service. Their Skills Advisors are experienced and have worked with a wide range of sectors, they advise on all aspects of education, training and business development. Whether that be helping an employer recruit an apprentice, recruit staff for a current FT/PT vacancy, up skill existing staff or implementing a whole organisation training plan they aim to help.
Four core services they offer:
- Bespoke Training- Tailor made short courses, long term training programmes or one to one coaching and mentoring
- Microsoft IT Training Academy- Microsoft Technical Training, Microsoft Specialist courses and PRINCE2 Training
- JobShop- Solving employer's recruitment needs, as well as supporting our students with full time employment progression opportunities
- Apprenticeships- Supporting local business to attract new talent and tackle skill shortages
