17-year-old Motorcyclist Dies Following Rochester Collision
17-year-old motorcyclist has died following Rochester Collision along Anthony's Way on Thursday night.
Kent Police say a Yamaha 125 motorcycle and a Volvo heavy goods vehicle were involved.
A 17 year-old local man, who was riding the motorcycle, died at the scene. His family have been informed.
The driver of the heavy goods vehicle, a 44 year-old man from Wiltshire, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and later released on bail until 15 February 2017, pending further investigation.
The road was closed for a number of hours to allow for investigation of the scene, and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw either of the two vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision.
