Ashford: Crash Arrest
A teenager driver has been arrested in connection with a two-car crash in the Kennington area of Ashford.
A silver MG ZR reportedly failed to stop when requested to do so by police on Saturday evening.
Following a short chase, the car is then reported to have been involved in a collision with a black BMW at the junction of Nettlefield Road and Faversham Road..
The police car did not make contact with either of the vehicles involved.
No-one was seriously injured although the suspected driver of the MG, an 18-year-old man from Kennington, did sustain an injury to his arm and was treated in hospital.
He was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been bailed until Monday 22 August.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the two cars on the road before the collision happened.
