It happened between 9.45pm and 10.30pm on Monday 6 June in Kennington, Ashford.

A man was walking with his girlfriend along a footpath that runs parallel to Raymond Fuller Way when they were approached by another man.  He punched the victim in the face and was also reportedly in possession of a knife.
The man is described as being 21 to 22-yrs- old, with dark brown hair, a skinny build, and wearing a dark, hooded top over a white t-shirt, dark trousers and a baseball cap. He was accompanied by another man.
The potential witnesses are described as a man and woman in their 20’s who were walking a spaniel.
A 19-year-old Kennington man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed to return to the police station pending further enquiries.
