Striking images of Kent are going on display on digital screens at London underground and overground stations from today.

The pictures form part of Visit Kent's summer campaign to inspire and encourage people to visit the county.

This year’s attractions and landmarks chosen to feature in the images include Hever Castle, Dover Castle, Viking Bay Broadstairs, Royal Harbour Ramsgate, and Folkestone Artworks.

Visit Kent Head of Marketing, Sinead Hanna, said: "We are really excited about launching our summer campaign this week with this beautiful gallery of images. We feel they perfectly encapsulate the drama, culture and coastal beauty of Kent in a way that is bright, witty, confident and relatable.

"We have worked closely with our destinations, our attractions, and our partners at Southeastern to create a series of inspiring images that also include a clear call to action. There are plenty of reasons to choose Kent for the perfect summer staycation, but these 9 will really make your heart sing."

The campaign will be appearing across London underground and overground stations, including large screens at London Victoria and Liverpool Streets stations, and in targeted digital adverts across TripAdvisor, National Rail, and TFL websites.

Sinead added: “Whatever your interests or travel preferences, Kent has something to offer everyone this summer - from culture-filled city escapes and get-away-from-it-all rural retreats, to jaw-dropping history and incredible family adventures.

“We want to show people the Kent we love, in a modern and exciting new way, and to welcome even more people to The Garden this summer.”
