Body Found

We're getting reports that the body of a young man has been found at a house where the double murder suspect Stephen Farrow was arrested.

It's understood a discovery's been made in Folkestone in Kent - but we're told it's NOT suspicious.

Earlier, the 47 year-old appeared in court charged with the murders of a vicar in South Gloucestershire and a retired teacher in Worcestershire.

He was remanded in custody at a court.

Toddler Abandoned

A woman has being questioned by police after a toddler was found abandoned in her pushchair at a library in Folkestone.

The little girl - aged 2 or 3 - was discovered at about 6pm yesterday as staff were closing up. She is now being cared for by social services.

Maidstone Jail Criticised

Inspectors say Maidstone prison isn't doing enough to try to rehabilitate sex offenders with some inmates being released without being given courses to address their behaviour.

A report has found there aren't enough places available on treatment programmes at the jail.

But it did praise inmate staff relations and said the jail was carrying out some bold initiatives.

Funeral For Pond Victim

A teenager who drowned in a pond in Canterbury will be remembered at a funeral service in his home village of Barham later.

Hugo Wenn's family say they want it to be a celebration of the 17 year old's life and are encouraging mourners to wear bright colours. He was found dead along with 25 year old Daniel Lloyd in Reed Pond last month.

Health Experts Talk To Worried Mums

A medical expert has met the families at the centre of an enquiry into birth defects in Northfleet.

Five babies have been born with the same rare bowel condition in the same street.

Meradin Peachey who is director of Public Health for Kent wanted to know if the families had identified any issue they thought may be the cause.

Peacocks Administration Latest

6-thousand jobs have been saved at the fashion chain Peacocks.

Nearly 390 shops are being bought by Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

But administrators couldn't find a buyer for 224 stores - meaning a loss of more than 3-thousand jobs.

Among those closing are Dartford, Chatham, Canterbury, Folkestone and Gravesend
